Cute, Cozy and Hackable

Happy #WorkforceWednesday peeps!

If you're looking for a quick one-and-done outfit this season, a sweater dress is a great option. They are easy to dress up or down and are the cozy equivalent to wearing an oversized sweatshirt or sweater.

I paired mine with some saffron tights to add a touch of color-blocking. The brown snakeskin knee boots are from Aldo. I really wanted to cinch the waist so I grabbed a leopard belt hoping it would have enough holes for cinching. Of course it didn't but that's nothing a little belt hack won't fix!

As I've said before, the possibilities of your wardrobe are endless. Think outside the box for ways to make an article of clothing work for you. As shown in the video, I just added a black elastic ponytail holder to one end, skipped the buckle loop and wrapped it around like a normal belt.

Think about what belts you have in your closet and the new looks you can create with this little known fashion hack! This week, I challenge you to transform a belt in your closet. Use it to cinch the waist on a dress, shirt, sweater, blazer, etc. Are you up for the challenge? Let me know! Comment below!
